Facebook dating arrives in France and Europe

Launched more than a year ago in the United States, the service was scheduled to arrive in Europe for Valentine’s Day, but was postponed for the last time following the intervention of Irish CNIL. After this “false start”, dating is now available in Europe and especially in France.

This functionality is opt-in, meaning that if the user has not said “yes”, it is “no”, recalls CNIL. Parallel to this launch, a blog post raising respect for privacy was posted. It has to be said that at this point the image of social networks has largely been tarnished in recent years.
