Finally, the much-awaited model of the Nintendo Switch with the greater display is out today. This latest Nintendo Switch will come with an OLED display that will be larger than the existing model.

This OLED Model is set to release on October 8. The new variant features an updated display, increased storage, improved speakers, and a better design.

Nintendo Switch OLED: What’s new? 

The new Nintendo Switch (OLED model), will come with a 7-inch OLED screen. Whereas the standard Switch had a 6.2-inch LCD display.

Unlike the previous model, The OLED model also features a redesigned kickstand at the back.

This time, the storage will be twice- 64 GB instead of 32 GB. Users can easily expand storage space using microSDHC cards up to 2TB.

There will be a new dock that features a built-in wired Ethernet port for better network connectivity. The console packs a 4310mAh battery that provides 4 to 9 hours of gaming time per charge.

This new Switch model will allow users to play in three modes, including TV mode, Tabletop mode, and Handheld mode.

TV mode lets the players sit in the dock and connects to your TV.

In Tabletop mode, you can flip the stand on the back of the console for a solid and sturdy foundation but still freely tilt the console with more range on the viewing angle.

The Handheld mode lets users take the device wherever they want to play local or online multiplayer with friends.

Price and Availability

The new Nintendo Switch will launch on October 8. It will be available for $350. In India, its expected price be around Rs 26,000.

It will be available in two color scheme variants: a red neon/blue scheme with a black dock and white/black scheme with a white dock.

The OLED dock will not come with any accessories such as an HDMI cable and AC adapter. The new docks will be available to purchase along with the Nintendo Switch OLED on October 8.
