On the occasion of Valorant’s First anniversary, Riot games had announced that a new version of its tactical first-person shooter is coming to mobile platforms.
Popular by its famous PC game League of Legends, Riot Games surprised its fans with this announcement. But this announcement doesn’t include other details about the upcoming game.
But it is quite expected that the developers will launch this game in phases by region-wise beta testing before launching the game for everyone.
Valorant is free to play shooter game available on Windows 7. It was launched last year on 2 June 2020. Within a year, it gained so much popularity. Now to attract more gamers Riot has decided to make a mobile platform debut. Recently, Valorant has 14 million users each month.
Executive Producer Anna Donlon has said:
“One of our top goals this first year was to earn the trust and respect of the global FPS community, and to prove to them that Valorant will always uphold the fundamentals of a truly worthwhile competitive tac-shooter,” said Valorant executive producer Anna Donlon.
“To see our growing player community recognise and appreciate what we’re trying to do with Valorant is beyond what we could have expected and we are thrilled to soon offer the same competitive Valorant experience to even more global players,” she further added.
Since the last year, Riot Games are showing their interest in mobile. Last year in March 2020, they established the game Teamfight Tactics on the handy gadgets, and Wild Rift launched in North America this year.
The release date of the upcoming game has not been disclosed yet. But it is expected that Valorant’s Mobile version will be released by the next year.
