Vodafone Idea (Vi) has introduced a new bulk data plan, priced at Rs 267. With increasing, data consumption bulk data plans appear to be rising in favour among consumers.

After Jio and Airtel, Vi too jumped in the fray and started offering a bulk data plan. It starts with two plans:

  •  Rs 447 with 60 days validity.
  •  Rs 267 with 30 days validity.

The Rs 267 plan competes with the Rs 247 plan of Jio with a similar 30 days validity.

Vi Rs. 267 prepaid recharge plan benefits

Vi is offering Rs 267 prepaid recharge plan with many benefits. It includes 25GB of data access and unlimited voice calling. The plan also offers 100 SMS messages per day and comes with a validity of 30 days.

Further, the Rs. 267 prepaid plan brings to access to the Vi Movies and TV app. It can also be bought from third-party sources including Amazon Pay, Google Pay, and Paytm.

TRAI had suggested earlier that the telcos should offer 30 days validity as it received complaints from consumers who said they feel cheated because of 28-day validity plans as they have to get 13 recharges done per year

Reports also noted that telcos want to increase their Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) by introducing these plans.

Jio is the first telecom company that introduces no data limit plans for their customers. After that, Airtel offers a Bulk data plan at Rs 456 that comes with 60 days validity, unlimited calls, and 100 SMS per day.

After the exhaustion of data, users will be required to pay 50 paise per megabyte Re 1 per local and Rs 1.5 per national SMS message.

The additional benefits of this plan include access to Prime Video Mobile Edition, free hello tunes, Wynk music, Airtel XStream Premium, and Rs 100 cashback on Fastag.
